     Mostly 2nd Monday each month (none in January) Starting 7:30pm at Queen’s Park Club House. Open to all financial members.

  • Working Bees
    5 sessions each year.
    - 2 sessions on Tuesdays at Don Road Vets courts.
    - 3 sessions at Queen’s Park courts
       (1 Friday twilight, 1 Saturday morning and 1 Sunday morning)

    A good opportunity to redeem $10 of your maintenance fee.

From Tuesday 22 September 2009 on Queens Park plexipave courts (1 & 2) for 10 weeks.
1:00pm - 2:15pm with Interact - others welcome.

Twilight Tennis

Social Tennis for all.

Starting Friday 9 October 2009, 5:30pm - 6:30pm for 10 weeks (finishing 11 December)

Cost $2 per player.

Initiated by Robert Cameron in association with his attendance to the Future Leaders Camp run by Tennis Victoria.

New Mums Beginner Tennis Group

Tennis Victoria are subsidising a five week program for young mums to try their hand at tennis.

On Mondays from 10:00am are 1 hour coaching sessions with Wayne Broom, starting Monday 12 October 2009 at Queens Park courts. Cost is $15 for the whole 5 week program.

Volunteer childcare is offered by club members at Queens Park whilst mum is present playing tennis.

A Tiny Tots Tennis Program is also being offered at the same time as the Mum's Program for 3 year olds. Our volunteer coach for Tiny Tots is Beth Honeycombe.

Access All Abilities (AAA) Tennis

The AAA tennis activity is an inclusive program for anyone who wants to give tennis a go, including people with a disability. Fun easy drills - not real tennis - just fun on court with a racquet and ball. Open to everyone.

  • Saturday 14 November 2009, 1:00-3:00pm.

Beginner Tennis Course

Healesville Living and Learning Centre (HL&LC) offers a 4 week beginner tennis program each term at the Don Road Sports Complex. This course is designed for complete beginners and adults returning to tennis. Gentle, fresh-air fun with novelty drills and games.

Starting Monday 12 October 2009 for 4 weeks (until Monday 9 November). 
Cost is $45.00.
